Six cones and one ball.
Activity: Three attackers start to the side of three lettered cones, A, B and C. Allocate a letter to each player. Call out a combination of the letters. The first player runs to the far cone, the second to the near, and the last to the cone behind the front two cones. Another player passes the ball to A, who runs forward and either passes to B – who runs out and passes back inside to C – or runs in and passes outside to C. If C gets an inside pass, they score between the cones set 7m apart. If they get an outside pass, they score in the 3m gate. You can either shout which line for player B to take, they can decide themselves, or the player behind can call. Keep giving players different letters as they rotate through the exercise.
Development: Put two defenders in front of the attackers. The first defender goes for player A and the second for player B. Player B should run out or in to draw this player.
