Cones and ball.
Have a 2 v 1 scrum next to the box. Depending on the level of your players, have a 2 v 1 scrum push.
Have another player feed the scrum. When the attackers have stepped over the ball (not hooked it), the scrummagers break and realign at one end of the box and the defender at the other end of the box.
The feeder recovers the ball and then feeds the attackers when they are set to come forward.
Using either touch or full tackling, the attackers aim to beat the defender in the box.
Rotate roles and repeat.
With three, have a 1 v 1 scrum, with the winner becoming the attacker. The winner is the player who drives forward the most. With five, you can still have a 2 v 1 or a 2 v 2. It’s quite intense, so a resting player is not a bad thing. With six, try 3 v 2 scrums.
Note: All players should be able to take up a scrummage position. Only allow pushing if the players are comfortable with scrummaging.
