Create a numerical advantage when defensive numbers are equal to the attack. Rather than looking for space, use "unders" and "overs" play to isolate the defender and creating a numerical advantage that originally did not exist.

The ball carrier must force the defender to turn in towards him by running to his inside shoulder.
The ball carrier must run to the inside shoulder of defender A forcing him to sit and square up before heading outwards to B.
The receiver must head towards defender B outside shoulder to receive pass.
